9 colorful picture books about bravery

When's the last time you were courageous?

It might sound silly, but for me it was stepping into Barnes and Noble last week. I've been über careful the past year, and that was the first time that I had been into a store or restaurant since last June. This next stage is exciting for many, but it is equally anxiety provoking for others.

This collection of books helps me find courage. I love the stories of girls being their own heroes, of friends lifting each other up, and of bravery showing up in less-than-expected ways. This collection includes social emotional read aloud books to help kids with anxiety. These kids books about bravery make the best classroom read alouds!
