My 10 Favorite Picture Books of 2020 & the Lessons They Taught Me

I think we can all agree that 2020 as a whole wasn’t so great. However, 2020 brought me two really wonderful things - my daughter, Louisa, and plenty of picture books! Read on to discover some of the best children's read aloud books of 2020. They include elementary books on friendship, funny read aloud books, and culturally diverse books for kids.

These are my 10 favorite picture books from 2020, along with a lesson, be it silly or profound, that each taught me:
